Foundations in Team Communication

A series of bespoke workshops designed to furnish teams with what they need to communicate successfully, nurture trust, take care of their well being and grow their resilience.

Participants say— “Having a shared language is really helpful. We’re on the same page, have a clear framework for how to navigate whatever comes up, and have practiced doing it together successfully.”

The workshops are explorations—offering tools and frameworks for your team to try out, road test and adapt. From here, teams refine their own ways of working and firm up their shared language and processes.

The workshop series includes:

1. Listening with aroha, empathy and nurturing trust.
2. Hauora, wellbeing.
3. Self compassion.
4. Appreciative feedback + specific requests.
5. Success with difficult conversations.
6. Exploration of bias— moving towards more mutual respect, fairness and equality.
7. Rupture and Repair—healing conflict, growing resilience.

Whenever possible, I prefer to co-facilitate with a Māori colleague, so that we can offer the group both Māori and Pākeha whakaaro and approaches.
